This compilation features mainly artists from Prophecy Productions and Auerbach Tonträger and gives us a very large impression of the pagan/folk metal. Most songs are acoustic so don`t expect metal.

For die-hard fans and vinyl collectors, like I am, the Vinyl version is a must. The great artwork from Fursy Teyssier comes as a big A3 poster with it.

Darkseed – Poison Awaits – 2010

As a huge fan from the early days till their “Diving into Darkness” album I tryed their new album with a new vocalist but I was sceptically. The vocals are a bit special since you have the old vocalist in mid, after the their listening it is ok and you can enjoy the album. No real catchy song on it but still a good album.

Some update again, summer is such a dull time and I was checking out this “hyped” chickband. The songs are quite catchy since producer is Tuomas from Nightwish. In all the album is ok, a bit onesided, for fans of female fronted gothic/metal bands it is still a good choice. The Limited Edition comes with a DVD with videoclips, live performances and interviews. Worth to spend the two more bucks if you wanna have a little insight into the band.

Huge show, huge sound, quite brilliant, the show from Tilburg 2008. The BLURAY features as a bonus live films from Lasse Hoile. Recommendation for everyone who likes the progressive style to get the DVD or the BLURAY.

Finally what lots of fans have been waiting for. The Package ships as 2DVD, 2CD oder Ltd. ED. 2DVD+2CD. Since I heard the “Tales from a Thousand Lakes” I am a fan of them. DVD1 features a liveshow from Oulu with 16 tracks. DVD2 adds the Summer Breeze show 2009 with 12 tracks, a 20 years band history documentary and all their videoclips and 2 old live clips. The CDs feature the show. All in all a big nice package for all fans. As only hickup, there is some error in the videoclips playing where you need to forwards one clips because it`s repeating without audio after it played.

This is the first CD of Tom Warriors (Ex Celtic Frost/Hellhammer) solos project. Its a solid album but I cant really understand why it is hyped so much. A very variant album, even with some doom influxes. All in all nice.
